Vision 18 Collective, is a group of like creative equine photographers that come together to work on special projects. We put together a production shoot last October, organized by fellow member April Visel. It was a very productive shoot with models, hair stylists, wardrobe experts and many directors. We combined the shoots with a retreat where we could just relax, share and enjoy. It was a huge success all the way around.

I was fortunate enough to visit Scotland twice this past year to photograph sport horses. My first trip was to Solaris Sport Horses to photograph their new stallion McJonnas. A cremello warmblood stallion. It was an exciting and fun filled 2 weeks. We toured as much of Scotland as we could fit in, with day trips working around the busy breeding schedule. It is truly a beautiful country. I will be adding a gallery of scenic Scotland as soon as my schedule slows down!

Then I was invited back by the Scottish Sport Horse Society to photograph their Mare and Youngstock Grading. I enjoyed seeing the country and visiting the breeding farms from the Boarders in the south to Aberdeen in the north. The weather didn't fully cooperate with us, but at least the rain held off. Of course just as the judges were flying out, the sun came out and the weather was glorious.
